About this website
I am an anonymous reader who was intrigued by Taking Religion Seriously and wanted a more deliberate way to follow where its questions lead.
The book points toward a substantial body of further reading. I made this site to formalize that list: to gather the sources in one place, organize them around the book’s questions, and make the next thing to read easier to see.
I also wanted a record of the work itself—not just a shelf of links, but a way to mark what I plan to read, what I’m reading, and what I’ve finished. The tracker turns a sprawling bibliography into a path I can actually follow.
Finally, I wanted a journal for my uncertainty. Before and after reading, I can record the probability I assign to each of the book’s central propositions. Over time, those estimates become a simple history of where the evidence moved me, where it didn’t, and where I still have more to learn.
